How to adjust the position of the bending die correctly


We have related articles to introduce how to install the mold of pipe bender before, then install the mold found that the position is wrong how to adjust? This is a tricky problem. Poor mold adjustment will directly lead to deformation or even fracture of bent pipe fittings. So how do you adjust?

Many manufacturers who use this pipe bending machine for the first time will have a wrong operation, which is to adjust the position of the mold completely by tightening the main clip.

This is not right. Although it has no effect on the bending, each time it is installed in this way, the surface of the clamping die will be worn and deformed due to forced extrusion, which reduces the service life of the die. The degree of mold fit is achieved by adjusting the screw (Figure. 1).

The correct adjustment method (Figure. 2) is that the clamping cylinder reaches the tightening position first, and then the adjusting screw is adjusted backward to open the clamping installation block. Then install the mold, manually align the clamping mold with the wheel mold, and then slowly control the adjusting screw to tighten the clamping mold step by step until it fits completely. In the process of debugging, the circular tube with the corresponding pipe diameter can be used to help align the mold faster. After the adjustment is completed, the clamping mold installation block is fixed. Finally, use manual mode to test whether the installation is ready to use. In this way, because the fine-tuning alignment is manually controlled, the wear on the mold of pipe tube bending machine is very small.
