Reverse bending structure of pipe bender

Our common pipe bender structure generally bends clockwise from left to right, Figure. 1

So if there are machines that bend left and right, are there machines that bend right to left? The answer is yes, this kind of machine we call it reverse bending machine (or called right bending machine) this kind of structure of the machine need to use in what situation? Please follow us to find out.

As a manufacturer, when the customer asks about the tube bending machine, we will require the drawings to be provided so that we can recommend the appropriate machine. At the same time, we also need to observe whether there is interference in the key and whether the machine needs to be modified. The situation shown in Figure 2 is common when analyzing products.

The workpiece needs to be facing down. If the spacing is long (red arrow), it will generally not matter. If the spacing is short, it will collide with the machine. At this time, three methods will be used, one is to complement the bending: the interference section is not bent first and other positions are completed before making a separate supplementary bending, but this method is not accurate, so it is generally not recommended; The second is to raise the mold, as shown in the picture, in order to preserve enough space. The third one is the reverse bend.

It can be seen that the bending step in Figure 3 completely interferes with the tube pipe bending machine. It is difficult to use the previous two methods to solve the problem, so the bending machine structure in Figure 4 can only be used for bending. Because of the change in bending direction (counterclockwise), the end that used to be facing down becomes facing up, thus avoiding interference with the body of the machine.
