The pipe bending machine is mainly used for bending metal pipe with the diameter within 6mm-219mm. It is not heated, but is formed by the cavity cold formed by the mold. This greatly saves manpower, improves the quality of the pipe, and can reach very High bend accuracy.

There are mainly 3 classification methods of pipe bending machine:

1,According to the standard classification of bendable pipe diameter, it can be divided into MODEL DW18 (referring to the largest capacity can bend 18mm pipe, the same below), DW38, DW50, DW63, DW75, DW89, DW100, DW115, DW130, DW168, DW189,DW219, the larger the model value, the larger the volume of the equipment, the longer the length(we can add the machine length according to requirement), the bigger the power, the bigger the bendable pipe diameter. The maximum wall thickness of the DW18 tube bender is usually 1.6mm (refer to the general steel tube, the stainless steel tube is stronger, the bending thickness can be reduced by 1/3 or halved), the maximum thickness of the 38 type is 2mm, the bigger the model, the wall of the processing tube is gradually thickened, and the wall thickness of the DW219 pipe bending
machine can be up to 16 mm.
Someone may ask:If I want to bend the pipe with outside diameter (OD) 18mm and wall thickness 3mm,what model of your pipe bender should I choose?Because DW18 pipe bender can bend a maximum wall thickness of 1.6mm pipe, to bend OD 18mm pipe with 3mm thick, it must not be bent on the DW18 machine. First calculate the actual cross-sectional area of the 18x3mm thick pipe, 3.14x9^2-3.14x( 9-3)^2 = 141.3mm2, then calculate the maximum processing tube thickness of DW38 is 2mm, the corresponding  cross-sectional area is: 3.14x19^2-3.14x17^2 = 226.08mm2, 226.08 is greater than 141.3,DW38

pipe bending machine can bend 18x3mm thick tube. Other analogies. There is also a question that requires special attention. The standard pipe bending machine can not only bend the round pipe, but also bend the round bar, square pipe, square bar, and the same standard round bar. Because of the high bending strength, the model is three grades higher. For example, to bend 18mm round bar,only DW50 model machine can meet the bending request.For the square tube,needs to calculate its circumference first. It is assumed that the circumference is less than 3.14 times the corresponding maximum diameter of the pipe diameter, and the wall thickness of the square pipe is within the maximum wall thickness plan of the type,can choose this model,if the value is the same, and a larger standard device type should be selected.

2,According to the number of working molds of the tube bending machine, it can be divided into single-head tube bending machine

and double-head tube bending machine.Only one set of mold operation is required at one time to form a bend, and the majority of

tube bender machine, from the ordinary NC tube bending machine to the CNC automatic tube bending machine, all are a

single-head tube bending machine; the double-head tube bending machine works through two sets of symmetrically arranged molds,

and two bends can be completed at the same time. It is usually used for symmetrical bending pipe processing, such as processing

U-shaped seat base, backrest and armrests, etc., with high power and high symmetry precision.

3,According to the degree of automation can be divided into numerical control type (NC) and programmable computer control type (CNC). The digital control type (NC) pipe bending machine refers to the operator who selects the manual or semi-automatic forming, enters the required processing viewpoint parameters together, or indirectly through the button start and stop control, completes the bending process, and the axial direction of the pipe during the bending process. The man-made space point needs man-made control, or is controlled by the manufacturing of the own positioning device. It is suitable for the processing precision requirements are not particularly high, there is no space scale requirement, mass production of smaller pipe bending processing. The computer-controlled (CNC) pipe bending machine refers to a program that can convert the contents of the drawing into instructions for automatic machining of the machine, except for the primary function of the single bending machine (some of which can complete the 0-180 degree rotation of the bending mode). Feeding can also complete two other sports, one is automatic feeding (axial feeding), the other is to automatically rotate the material to reach the space scale requirement; according to the complexity of the terminal product, the bending die can be completed in (X,Y,Z),this completes the requirements for one-time molding processing of products with high precision and high difficulty.
