The main working mode of most pipe benders is the upper piston press, and its driving force has obvious characteristics, which has a great relationship with the production process of the pipe bender mold. But it is undeniable that the production safety of the pipe bending machine is higher. The safety matters to be noted in normal use include the following:


The working characteristic of the automatic tube bending machine is that the pressure is formed by two parallel working hydraulic cylinders, and this pressure is vertically downward. The pressure can drive the mold of the bending beam to perform the bending work. The typical bending process of the upper bending beam has several stages and links, including downward movement, static state and decompression, return stroke, etc.


1. downward movement

   The downward rapid closing movement of the common pipe bender is generally a free-fall type, that is, the movement is generated by the weight of the pipe bender itself. But the manufacture of CNC pipe bender molds is not the case, but the hydraulic cylinder rodless cavity is used to generate pressure, so the fast-forward speed can reach 250mm/s, which is more suitable for the production of more powerful molds.

2. static state

  Automatic bending machine is in the rest position is the upper bending beam at the top dead center. This state is to prevent uncontrolled downward movement and reduce safety risks.

3. decompression

   Decompression without rod cavity or when the bottom dead center is reached, starting after the dwell time, can further improve the accuracy of the workpiece. Both holding pressure and reducing pressure can be controlled by proportional directional valve. The operating cycle time can be customized according to the needs. When decompression is required, it can be shortened as much as possible, but the decompression curve should not be too steep and as smooth as possible.

4. return trip

   This involves a large return speed, which mainly depends on the flow of the pump and the pressure bearing area of the rod cavity of the hydraulic cylinder. In general, the closer to the fast speed, the higher the return efficiency. The return trip also requires synchronization.

5. stamping and bending

  The next stage is stamping and bending, which is a key link in the production of pipe bender molds, and it is also the latter link. The stamping speed is limited by the oil supply of the oil pump, and it is also subject to the manual intervention of the proportional valve directional valve.
