Tube Bender Selection

There are too many different types of tube bender on the market today and many factors need to be considered in the bender selection process. Many clients will look forward and buy bigger capacity or more functions for future use, so potentially may influence the final decision.

For most companies, deciders will consider the best available machine with lowest cost.

However,these factors such as products accuracy requirement,daily production,operator skill level, process flow of parts, plant space,local temperature are also as important as the cost as well.

Types of Tube Benders

Semi-Automatic:

This type of tube bender is the lowest cost and is effective for single bend parts or simple multi-plane parts.

The only controlled axis on this type of bender is the bend angle. The straight length and rotation are positioned manually by the operator.Can also be productive for some special products with customized stopper,operated by experienced skilled workers. 

Automatic-Single Stack:

This cnc tube bending machine can control the bend angle, tube rotation and straight length. It’s called a “single stack” because it has the ability to mount only one tool set at same time. This pipe bending machine is the entry level CNC tube bending machine which is able to produce moderate to high volume parts.It is divided two two types,hydraulic bending 2A1S and servo bending 3A1S.For servo bending,can also have high accuracy,which is less influenced by oil temperature during bending.

Multi-Stack:

This cnc pipe bender is not only having function of automatic bending angle,automatic tube rotation and feeding by servo motor,can also be mounted with multi tool sets at same time,such as different radius,or different shape.

This multi-stack tube bender can be assembled with different moulds due to its structure.The bending head is available moving left and right and up and down.Which driven by servo motor or hydraulic cylinders.
