The characteristics of the metal pipe bending machine are "bending", flexible application and various processing methods. It's not like you can make pipes straight from the start, it's all done with specialized machines. If there is a wrinkle in the pipeline (Figure 1), what causes it and how to solve it?

The Reason

1. This may be related to the material of the pipe. Under similar forming conditions, it has a certain low deformation speed and high tensile strength, and all bending construction of the equipment may cause damage.

2. Each bend is completed after several bends in the manufacturing process, during the manufacturing process, the pipe can be effectively placed on the machine, so that the equipment exerts a bending moment on the pipe, so that the pipe layout deformation is appropriate.

The solution

1. Select pipes with better materials when purchasing materials.

2. Adjust the clamping position of guide mold (Figure 2). If mould clamping is not tight, it will result in a gap will wrinkle. Fitting the clamping mold and the bending mold to make the pipe fit into the mold cavity can directly and effectively solve the wrinkling phenomenon.

3. Use the mandrel (Figure 3). If the pipe is still wrinkled after fitting molds well, most of the wrinkles should be produced inward, at this time, the supporting force of the mandrel in the tube can be used to constrain the wrinkling phenomenon.

In the process of steel pipe bending machine, because the main purpose is to bend the pipe, so in the process of bending the pipe may appear a little wrinkle, this is normal phenomenon. If you feel that wrinkle really affect beauty, can be solved according to the above method, as smooth as possible.
