Versatility of Pipe Bender Clamp

The control of the pipe bending size is completely realized by the precise positioning of the feeding mechanism.

The clip as the clamping part of the feeding mechanism is an important accessory.

In order to hold the pipe fittings more securely, the clip is generally designed to be composed of four pieces (the middle is cut after the whole process is finished). As shown in Figure 2, there is a step inside the clip. This step is mainly used for more accurate positioning. It is generally used when the length is not very long and a mandrel is required.

Figure 3  Inside of the clamp

Generally, the length of the pipe bender is about 3.5 meters, and there is no problem in processing pipe fittings below three meters. If the processing of more than three meters, such as five meters and six meters, requires a mandrel, the body will be lengthened to meet the processing requirements. When it reaches ten meters can be completed by adding a support table. If you encounter tens of meters of pipe fittings, as shown in Figure 3.

In this case, the mandrel cannot be used, and the internal structure of the jaws will also affect the positioning of the pipe.

Therefore, it is necessary to modify the raw material clip and change it to a type without a bench in the middle of Figure 4, and the pipe fittings can pass through the feeding mechanism to remove the restriction on the length.

However, when using the machine, it may not always be an ultra-long piece. When encountering a shorter pipe, adding a stopper on the basis of the improved material clip above can play the role of positioning the original material clip. When processing long pipes , do not install the stopper, install the stopper when processing short material.
