Why do large arc pipe fittings need to be pushed and bent


The mold of the metal pipe bending machine includes a wheel mold, a clamp mold, and a guide mold. Through the clamping between the guide die and the wheel die, the bending action is completed by the rotation of the machine head, but when bending a large arc, the arc die made due to the excessive bending radius will also become larger, resulting in the following: Problem 1: Installation is inconvenient. Two: cause the nose to be overloaded and overloaded. Three: The size is too large and the price is too high.

The processing of R1000 pipe fittings is marked by the dotted line in Figure 1. The diameter of the wheel die needs to be 2000. The die is very difficult to install, and the die is too heavy to cause extrusion damage to the machine head structure. It is difficult to use normally, and the production cost is high.

If the push-bending wheel die is selected as shown in Figure 2, the size is similar to that of the ordinary die, and the size of the angle A can be controlled by clamping the two wheel dies, and large circular arc pipe fittings with different radii can be produced.


Unlike ordinary bending, push bending only needs to be bent by the machine head to form a leading angle, and then pushed forward by the feeding trolley of the machine. Therefore, the motor of the feeding trolley with the push-bending function of the steel pipe bending machine needs to be increased in power. And because the bending is pushed and the radius is large, there are few deformation marks on the surface after bending.
