Working Principles of Pipe and Tube Bending Machines
Tube bending is a kind of metal forming process used to shape pipes or tubes. Bending is an important part in the process of manufacturing industrial pipes and tubes. Pipes can be bent into single or multiple bends and angles, that depend on requirements by the products.
What is the principles of steel pipe bending machine? Basically 2 types: the high-pressure oil output by the electric oil pump and the rotation of the servo motor. The former one is sent into the working oil cylinder through the high-pressure oil pipe, and the high-pressure oil pushes the plunger in the working oil cylinder to generate thrust. Thu,s the pipe is bent through the elbow part. The latter one drives the gears and bearings to rotate, pushing elbow part to bend the tubes.

The bending dies usually is fixed on the main shaft and rotates with the main shaft, and the pipes is wound in the circumferential direction of the bending dies. There are three major actions: linear feeding, space rotary and pipe bending. After completing a bending angle, the pipe is sent to the next bending position and connected to a space corner, and the next bending is performed.
