How do you make a chair

At present, furniture industry is the most common customer group of pipe bender, because the appearance of their furniture frame by bending control is higher than that by welding assembly, among which the most common is the seat (Figure 1).

It can be seen that the main frame of the seat is made of pipe fittings. We can see it more intuitively through Figure 2

The seat frame can be divided into legs and armrest, seat and back two parts. You need to change the mold before bending. The mold size is determined according to the pipe. Normally, a pipe fitting corresponds to a set of molds. The relevant parameters include pipe diameter and bending radius. These two data will be marked on the molds for easy searching. After changing the molds, you can start programming. Note that it is not possible to determine the interference before programming. You can first simulate the process of bending the pipe with a wire and observe whether there is interference. If there is interference, you can try to start from the other direction.

1. Determine the length of the pipe fitting first. According to our model, the length of the leg and armrest pipe fitting is 3.6 meters. Using a sawing machine blanking of line pipe parts.

2. Start programming to input YBC parameters, which need to be calculated according to the drawing. Relevant data statistics will be obtained (as shown in Figure 3) and Input pipe bender system, and set the appropriate bending speed and compensation parameters.

3. The pipe fitting is placed in the machine mold and starts to run. At this time, pay attention to the bending effect. If there are wrinkles and fractures, the work should be stopped immediately and the position or parameters of the mold should be adjusted.Because the front end of the pipe fitting is heavy after bending, the front support material must be opened, and the operator should observe around to prevent the demoulding when bending the pipe.

4. Finish the seat and backrest in the same way, and finally weld the pipe fittings.

Before the above process, ensure that the parameters of the pipe bending machine are set correctly.
