How to choose a pipe cutter

How to choose pipe cutting machine? Manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic? Which is right for me? When we choose, we need to consider the following aspects:

The first is your capacity. If you have a lot of capacity, you have a lot of demand for automation. If you have moderate capacity or not major capacity, you don't have a lot of demand for automation.

The second is your requirement for the precision of the product. The requirement for the precision of the assembly class is very high. If it is the kind of welding parts that are guardrail, the accuracy difference does not affect the case.

The third is your expected investment, if you have enough money to buy equipment, of course, the choice of features the more the better, if limited funds suggest compromise.

The first is manual, as shown in Figure 1:

As the name implies, except the rotation of the saw blade controlled by the motor, the cutting and feeding actions need to be completed manually. Although the operation is complicated, the price is cheap and the volume is small.

Then semi-automatic pipe cutting machine, as shown in Figure 2:

The essential difference between it and the manual pipe cutting machine is that the cutting action can be completed by the machine through the button, that is to say, the cutting force can be well controlled by the machine to reduce the collapse of the blade caused by the uneven force of the manual cutting tool. The price of the machine is moderate and the floor space is small.

The final introduction is the automatic pipe cutting machine, as shown in Figure 3:

The advantage of automatic is that the workers will be placed in the position of the machine fixture, set to cut the size and quantity, it is OK, saving a lot of clamping time. But the price is more expensive, cutting machine covers a large area.
