What is a semi-automatic pipe bending machine

First of all, let's understand that semi-automatic pipe bending machine is also called NC pipe bender. Its work nature is the same as that of automatic pipe bender, and its main function is to process pipes and tubes. The only difference is that NC pipe bender has no other action except pipe bending. Compared with CNC pipe bending machine automatic, there is no feeding car to help positioning and rotation, as shown in Figure 1. All these missing actions can only be completed manually.

Although the semi-automatic pipe bender is not as intelligent as the automatic pipe bender, it will be more convenient to use the semi-automatic bending process in adding pipe bending. And relatively single bend and relatively simple pipe machine, the use of semi-automatic pipe bending may feel inconvenient positioning, here is a small skill for you. It is possible to add a positioning mold at the swing arm of the machine head, as shown in Figure 2:

Similar to the red short pipe fitting in the figure, an iron plate support mold is added at the front end to locate the length of the pipe. In this way, there is no need to mark out the positioning and no need to worry about the inaccurate position.

To sum up, it can be seen that for simple pipe workpieces, semi-automatic pipe bender can be used to supplement the missing positioning function of automatic pipe bender through the external force of mold, so as to achieve convenient bending function.
