What are the three types of tube benders?
The manual pipe bender is a cold-formed simple manual pipe bender. No need for heating and sand filling and other processes. You can make it yourself, easy to use and easy to carry.
The main components of manual pipe bending are: rod, hand frame, screw, slider, pressure wheel, layering, bending die, bearing, pipe clamp and base.
When using the bender, the user pulls the handle of the bender to force the pipe to bypass the bender (shoes). The tube is sandwiched between the model and the roller, so when the user pushes the handles together to apply pressure, the tube is forced to take the shape of the model. Pressure must be applied to push the tube, but it is important that the tube retains most of its shape to keep it in good working condition..
2. Semi-automatic hydraulic pipe bender
The hydraulic pipe bender is the high-pressure oil output by the electric oil pump, which is sent into the working oil cylinder through the high-pressure oil pipe.
There are two types of hydraulic pipe benders: semi-automatic and fully automatic. The common point of the two is the hydraulic bending, the difference is that the semi-automatic needs manual feeding, positioning and rotary. After you bend one bend on a pipe, you need to bend the second bend, then you need to manually measure the position, move the pipe to the next bend, and then step on the foot switch of the machine to make the next bend. The machine can record the angle of each bend first. Then execute the command by stepping on the foot switch.
3. Automatic hydraulic pipe bender
The same is the hydraulic pipe bender, the feeding, positioning and rotation of the automatic pipe bender are all completed by the servo motor. You only need to enter the angle of each bend, the distance of the next bend, and the angle of rotation. Insert the tube manually and step on the foot switch. The machine will automatically perform a series of bending work.
Compared with the semi-automatic hydraulic pipe bender, the fully automatic hydraulic pipe bender is definitely more accurate and saves time and labor. However, the price of a fully automatic pipe bender is much more expensive than a semi-automatic one.
For users, you can choose different pipe benders in consideration of different situations. For example, if the processing quantity is small and the sales value is not high, then a small manual pipe bender can be considered. If the processing quantity is medium, there are only 1-2 bends on a pipe, and the workpiece is not complicated, then a semi-automatic hydraulic pipe bender can be considered. If the processing quantity is relatively large, the workpiece is relatively complicated, there are multiple bends and the bending accuracy, feeding accuracy, etc. are required, then a fully automatic hydraulic pipe bender can be considered.
