How to place pipes in pipe bender

We met many customers,we made the program and set up the pipe bending machine for them, and guided the steps to start the machine before receiving the machine. But sometimes we find that they may be using the machine for the first time and don't know how to install the pipes. So we will give you the solution to this step.

The placement is simple as shown in (Figure 1), just go through the machine head.

So where does it need to be placed? All the feeding data of the gi pipe bending machine are taken as the starting point. The length of the pipe fitting will be input before the machine is used. The system will combine these two data to calculate the feeding. When installing the pipes, it is only necessary to press the pipes on the step of the clamping claw (Figure 2).

The pipe bending machine cnc will calculate the feeding distance according to your pipe length combined with the distance from the origin to the mold. While the pipe is long, pipe needs to cross clamping jaw and even the whole feeding car, grip design will not have this step, also can't use this method, at this time we need another reference origin according to our machines, each manufacturer's design is different, some take the center of the bending die for reference, We take the end face of the bending die block as a reference, It is easier to observe than the center of the wheel die (Figure. 3).

After the pipe is put into the machine, it is necessary to observe whether the pipe is in a straight line with the cavity of the feeding car and bending die (Figure 4).

If it is not in a straight line, the feeding car should be moved left and right to ensure coaxial alignment (Figure 5), so that the pipe will not be stuck and lead to inaccurate bending.
